The Icing on the Cake

Michelle Snow Bracken and Todd Bracken, the owners of Frosting, have a unique love story. After meeting online, the two cultivated a relationship and discovered their shared dream of opening a boutique bake shop and coffee bar. One thing led to another and now the two are the proud owners of Frosting in Chevy Chase, MD.



Their love story even sparked the idea for a book, The Icing on the Cake by Alison Kent. 

The cupcake featured is a gluten free cupcake. Delicious!

Trays of cupcakes for the event. I also tried the Campfire, which tasted like a S'More. 

When I arrived they were still filming their Fox 5 segment. It's always fun to see the filming process!

A beautiful event for a beautiful couple. Frosting was featured on our blog at the end of May. I'm still convinced their cupcakes are going to be some major competition for other local sweet spots.
