At our recent Lamb
and Fig dinner, I made this Spiked Cider with figs and Diep 9 to go with
our meal. Special thank you to the California Fig Association for contributing the delicious
fruit.
1 gallon of apple cider
1 cup pureed figs
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
Diep 9 apple and vanilla
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
Diep 9 apple and vanilla
Combine first 5 ingredients in a slow cooker. Warm on low heat until it
reaches your desired temperature. Put a shot of Diep 9 apple and vanilla
into your mug and ladle the cider on top. Warm and comforting...another
perfect drink for a lamb party.
