Dining Out: NEW Silver American Brasserie

Co-founders Chef Ype Von Hengst and Bob Glaimo have opened another Silver location in the DC area! Originally known for creating the Silver Diner, Glaimo and Von Hengst have created a New American Brasserie that brings the old-fashioned feel of a diner with giant burgers, sandwiches, homemade sodas and shakes. However, this new spin on a diner has an updated style and flavor profile, with craft cocktails, flexitarian options, all day brunch, a beautiful outdoor patio, and fresh, locally sourced foods. This new farm-to-table diner is located in the Cathedral Commons neighborhood, near American University and the National Cathedral.
