Cheese Stolen with Bosio Tropical Passion Fruit Moscato

Photo from Lana's Cooking
I love a good bubbly to pair with brunch.  Forget the mimosas and try this Tropical Passion Fruit Moscato.

The Recipe:

1 can crescent rolls
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend the ingredients for the filling with a mixer - cream cheese, sugar, flour, lemon juice, vanilla and egg. Next, open crescent rolls and separate each triangle. Arrange on baking sheet the triangles under each other overlapping. Pour filling down the middle of the rolls and fold over the side points to hold in the filling. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top of the pastry. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Pairing:  Tropical Passion Fruit Moscato

The Tropical Moscato is straw yellow in color. It is bright and refreshing with fine structure. The aromas of tropical fruit follow through to the palate for a harmonious finish.  Perfect for brunch.
