It's a slow time of year for food events, what with the heat and the humidity. So you have plenty of reason to take part in Summer Restaurant Week. Yes, it's that time in the capital again, from August 11 to 17. Log on to http://www.washington.org/restaurantwk/ to find out who's participating. Restaurants are offering lunch at $20.08 for a three-course meal and dinner for $35.08 for a three-course meal. Drinks, tax and service are extra.
