Initial Thoughts:
- Photos: Beautiful photography of the streets of India.
- Recipes: Recipes contain obscure ingredients and do not seem practical for the average cook to actually make at home.
If you are interested in a book with beautiful photos of India, I would recommend this book. However, if you actually want to try to make some Indian recipes at home, this is probably not the best book for you. It would have been helpful if there was some sort of glossary explaining the ingredients or where to find them. Without that, the recipes look good, but I wouldn't know how to make them because there are no recommendations for substitutions and they seem inaccessible.
