The Swedish embassy celebrated the opening of their new design exhibit The Fabric of Life last week in style. The exhibit features pieces made by 17 female interior designers and 2 interactive rooms made for bonding with your children.
The Fabric of Life also includes gravity defying photography by Charlotte Gyllenhammar featuring a beautiful Swedish woman with a tutu in flowering poses. To accompany the art, Swedish chefs Grythtthan and Carl Granqvist styled the menu inspired by the Swedish Sea, Mountains, Forests, and Fields. Petite creations included, fantastic imported Stafva goat cheese from Gotland, Smoked elk on a potato terrine, and Chanterelle mushroom soup. YUM. Don’t miss out on your next chance to try Swedish food. You can also visit The Fabric of Life at the Embassy of Sweden throughout March and April!
