This dip is so yummy! It is great with the salt and pepper potato chips. Enjoy!
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 yellow onions, sliced into 1/4-inch rings (about 4 cups)
1 tablespoon sugar
6 ounces sour cream
2 heaping tablespoons mayonnaise
3 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
3 yellow onions, sliced into 1/4-inch rings (about 4 cups)
1 tablespoon sugar
6 ounces sour cream
2 heaping tablespoons mayonnaise
3 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
In a large saute pan over medium high heat, add oil. Add onions and sugar and saute stirring occasionally until golden brown and caramelized, about 35-45 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 to 6 minutes, then puree in food processor with cream cheese.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Fold in onion mixture. Chill at least 1 hour or overnight, prior to serving.
Serve with Potato Chips and Crudites.
