On May 5, 2012 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., Mount Vernon Triangle’s
newly acclaimed restaurants will be opening their doors for a special
event – the Third Annual Taste of Mount Vernon Triangle.
This
progressive dinner allows patrons to explore the neighborhood by going
from place to place trying appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks
with one all-inclusive ticket. Tickets can be purchased through the
MVTCID website for $20 in advance or $30 at
the door. Tickets will be available for sale on May 5 at the corner of 5th and K Street, NW.
The establishments confirmed so far include:
Mandu, a Korean restaurant that started in Dupont Circle,
Taylor Gourmet Deli, with its Philadelphia-style sandwiches,
Kushi, a Japanese-style pub,
Henry’s Soul Café, with its jaw-dropping southern menu,
Papa John’s, hand-tossed pizza,
Busboys and Poets, creative American cuisine,
Tunnel Liquor, showcasing international beers, and
Subway Liquor, featuring a wine and cheese reception.
