During my trip to Taiwan, I stopped by The Water Drop Tea House east of Kaohsiung to try some vegetarian dishes. After lots of filming fun at the Fo Guang Shan Monastery, we just had to check it out. The restaurant is completely vegetarian and offers many delicious options. The menu provides much more variety than most vegetarian menus found in America.
I loved the peanuts with tofu, fried mushrooms, cucumber spring rolls and pumpkin. We also tried summer noodles, puffed rice with spaghetti sauce, bamboo and many other interesting dishes. If you visit Fo Guang Shan Monastery, make sure to stop in for lunch.
They asked me to sign the wall before we left. |
