Ambar has some new menu items to check out.
My favorite new dish is the Creamy Zucchini Soup made with zucchini, potato and sun-dried tomato for $7. I liked it so much that I'm going to try to make my own version at home.
Salad lovers: Try the Arugula and Prosciutto Salad with kajmak, cherry tomato served with balsamic blueberry vinaigrette for $9.
The Vegetable Lasagna with grilled eggplant and zucchini, tomato, mushroom, Gouda and eggplant aioli has nice flavor. My bite was a bit cold in the middle, but I still loved the dish.
Make sure to taste the Stuffed Baby Peppers with raisins, jasmine rice, roasted walnut, onion, carrot and spicy vegetable sauce priced at $8.
In addition to the new menu items, be sure to try some of the classics. The restaurants adds some new color to the DC food scene with Balkan delights.
