Starting today, G, Mike Isabella’s 14th Street sandwich shop, is offering its sandwiches from 11am to 9pm Sunday through Thursday (takeout only after 5 p.m.), and 11am to 5pm Friday and Saturday. Sandwiches had previously only been available during weekday lunch hours. My fav is the baby goat sandwich!
G has also begun a program of monthly guest chef Sandwiches. Each month, Mike Isabella will be inviting one of his chef friends to create a sandwich that will be featured at G as a special. First up: The Drewno. The Source Executive Chef Scott Drewno has created this heaping hero that features house made kielbasa, Italian beef, sauerkraut and spicy giardiniera. The $12 sandwich will be available through November. Up in December: Nick Stefanelli of Bibiana.
G is also hosting a White Truffle Dinner on November 6. The four-course menu features white truffles in every dish. The feast includes Italian wines chosen to pair with each plate. The four-course truffle dinner with wine pairings is $150.00, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations are available through City Eats.

YUM!! Everything on that plate looks SO GOOD! Maybe I'll make the sausage BP at Thanksgiving with my fam... I took your advice and made pork with a veggie side last night - perfect!
