Fresh flavors of spring and warmer weather kicks off with a favorite DC culinary event -- Greek Easter at Zaytinya.
The festival kicks off with Agorá, a festive outdoor marketplace on the patio featuring unique Greek artisanal products, food, wine, live music and Spartan warriors on Saturday, April 4 (moved from March 29 due to chilly weather in DC).
Following the kick-off, head chef Michael Costa will offer a special $35 pre-fixe brunch from 11 AM to 4 PM on both April 5th and April 12th for both Western and Greek Easters. The brunch will feature delicious menu items like Spring Pea Tzatziki with pistachios, Greek yogurt and mint, Mayiritsa, a traditional egg and lemon soup with lamb neck, smoked lamb's liver and caramelized onions, and Spit-Roasted Lamb Shoulder Hash with Cretan barley rusks, feta and avgolemono sauce.
