Roll into Maryland's newest spot to be served over-the-top creations while you hit the lanes, including the insta-worthy Behemoth Burger, shareable Pizza Cupcakes, or an XXL Hot Dog. If your group is thirsty, I recommend ordering the Dunk Tank, a super sweet 123-ounce fishbowl cocktail, or the Mega 101-ounce Moscow Mule. If you want something more familiar, check out the wine selection or choose from the laundry list of craft and local brews.
Torrey Smith, two-time Super Bowl Champion and University of Maryland Alum, hosted the Grand Opening of Bowlero in College Park last Friday. The bowling alley was jam-packed with families, UMD students, and D.C. professionals playing interactive arcade games, attempting trick shots in the glow in the dark lanes, dancing to the live DJ, devouring inventive shareables, and ordering rounds of specialty drinks.
Over the last few years, bowling alleys have taken the back seat in "cool things to do", but Bowlero in College Park has reminded me all over again why Saturday nights are for bowling! I forgot that bowling night is great even when more often than not your ball flies into the gutter. Watching your friends' strange bowling styles while ordering drink after drink is half the fun! This upscale bowling alley offers a cool atmosphere, awesome food and drinks, competitive playfulness with friends, and a night full of genuine fun.
This is the perfect spot for date night, family outings, birthday parties, college nights, and corporate outings. Bowlero College Park is located at 9021 Baltimore Avenue and is open Monday 4-12AM, Tuesday-Thursday 4-11PM, Friday 3PM-1AM, Saturday 11AM-1AM, and Sunday from 11am-11pm. For lane availability, reservations, more information, or to plan a party or corporate event, please call (301) 474-8282 or go to: Bowlero.
