You wouldn't know fall is getting near with this weather, right?! I've still got some fresh basil growing in my garden. Looking forward to shaking up some of these tasty cocktails for my friends this weekend.
1.5 oz bourbon
.5 oz balsamic syrup
5 fresh basil leaves
1 tsp brown sugar
2 oz ginger beer
Muddle the basil, brown sugar and balsamic syrup. Add ice and bourbon and shake vigorously. Serve in a double old fashioned glass and top with ginger beer. Garnish with fresh basil leaf.
