Filming: Cooking with the Quintuplets

Saturday we filmed Cooking with the Quintuplets. This is the first time filming since November when we did the Food Blogger Challenge.

In 1997, Jacqueline Thompson gave birth to sextuplets, five of whom survived. The donations that helped make ends meet dropped off years ago. Now she’s a single mom. Join Lauren as she teaches the quints how to make spicy buffalo chicken pizza and healthy fruit salad with a honey yogurt sauce.
This episode has been one of the most challenging to plan for since I started Capital Cooking about a year ago. My main concern has been creating recipes that the quints will enjoy as well as making it easy enough so they can make the food at home on their own.
Although it was challenging, the show turned out to be lots of fun. Richard, Stella, Ann-Marie, Octavia, and Emily loved chopping and preparing the pizza. Hopefully they'll be able to make the recipes at home to help their mom out in the kitchen.
Capital Cooking with the Quintuplets should air in the next couple of months.
Thank you to the Links group for sponsoring the show. Also, thank you to Happy Hal's Jalapeno Relish as well Alili, LLC. Thank you to David Crosson, Corey Then, Alex Moore and Ashley Mosley for being part of the crew and doing an excellent job.
