Thinking of Drinking: Power Play

I recently dined at The Bombay Club for the first time and tried the Power Play cocktail.  Power Play is balanced with sweet, tangy and fruity flavors with  none of them overpowering each other. Its a perfect amalgamation to cool off the summer!!  Not only did I enjoy the Power Play, but Ashok made me a special Mango Lassi martini.  It isn't on the menu, but if you ask nicely, I'm sure they'll whip one up. I'm thinking of drinking at the Bombay Club and listening to the live piano music while sipping on of these.

10 Cane Rum     - 1 shot
Orange Curacao  - .5 ounces
Lemon Juice     - A Splash
Raspberries     - 2

Crush the Raspberries into the shaker. Add the 10 Cane rum, Orange Curacao & splash of lemon juice. Shake it well with ice. Pour it into the glass and top it with club soda.

The Bombay Club offers authentic Indian fare without the trendy modern atmosphere of Rasika.  Ashok will be opening a second Rasika in the West End soon.  Ashok's mother likes to dine at the Bombay Club and her favorite dish is Dhaba Murg, so I had to try it.

Dhaba Murg is a chicken dish in a red sauce that is comforting and subtly spicy.  All of the food was delicious. The Bombay Club is the perfect place for business dining.  Go experience Ashok's first DC restaurant and you'll understand why it has been operating for over 20 years.
