Thailand: Siam Niramit

After filling our bellies at Supatra River House, we went to Vimanmek Palace.  Vimanmek Palace is the largest golden teak structure in the world with 80 rooms.

We were getting a little overwhelmed from all of the sightseeing so it was time for dinner and a show at Siam Niramit.  Siam Niramit is the largest theater in Thailand seating 2,000 people.  This show is similar to Cirque du Soliel, but takes you on a journey through the history of Thailand.

The dancing and special effects were great.  The buffet before dinner wasn’t all that tasty, but we really liked the show.  It is fun to arrive early for the pre-show entertainment and you can even feed the elephants.
We packed a lot into our 1 day around Bangkok.  Off to Chiang Mai for some Northern Thai cuisine, white water rafting, elephant riding, tiger petting and more!
