Last Chance to win dinner for 2 at Station 4 and 2 Nats Tix!

August is National Peach Month and every time I think about peaches, I think of The Presidents of the United States of America "Peaches" song.   You will find close to a million peaches at Station 4 this month.

The neighborhood hot spot Station 4, located close to Nationals Park and Arena Stage, is offering a special Peach Tasting Menu. Priced at $38 per person (tax, gratuity, and beverages not included; minimum of two guests per order), guests can enjoy a six-course prix fixe menu artfully prepared by Executive Chef Orlando Amaro.

Start the meal with a Peach Margarita with Salt Foam.  I'm not a huge oyster fan, but these ones are not to be missed.  The Blue Point Oysters in an onion-peach mignonette offer the perfect sweet and salty flavor combination.
The Grilled Peach Salad with Gorgonzola cheese, spiced pecans, and arugula dressed with black pepper dijonaise was my favorite.
Mid-meal, order the Peach Sangria, made with a combination of white wine, local peaches, peach nectar, peach liquor, mint, cinnamon, brandy, simple syrup, Prosecco and priced at $10.
Move onto the Seared Scallops with pickled peach on cilantro salad.
Enjoy a large portion of Seared Fois Gras with roasted peaches and summer truffle juice.
Save room for the Korobuto Pork Tenderloin served with peach chutney and fava-corn relish.
For dessert, indulge in Peach Tartin with crème fraiche. All items are available a la carte and priced at $10 for appetizers, $20 for entrées and $8 for dessert.

The prix fixe menu is available exclusively during dinner service from 5 PM to 11 PM.  For reservations call (202) 488-0987 or please visitwww.station4dc.com.

  1. Wow! Those dishes look amazing. My recent go-to salad has been butter lettuce, peaches, avocado, goat cheese, cucumber with an orange vinaigrette. And peach cobbler isn't half bad :)

  2. Looks peachy keen :) I know, lame sauce :) I signed up for the newsletter and also 'liked' on FB, already an avid twitter follower! Because I'm not a gorgonzola or feta cheese lover, the peach salads tend to pass me by....so peach cobbler with caramel drizzle and vanilla ice cream is my peach go-to!

  4.  Agreed.  If you win though, you have to try Station 4's peach salad.  It is totally delicious despite the Gorgonzola!  Thanks for entering!
