Upcoming Events: FNO, Grape Festival and More!

Fashions Night Out is a worldwide event that celebrates all things style and shopping.  Tonight, September 6, 2012 from 6-11 PM, the 3rd annual FNO Georgetown offers a chance for all fashionable foodies to get in on the action.  Some of the participating restaurants include Bandolero with a featured The Devil Wears Prada Cocktail, Georgetown Cupcake with free "FNO" red velvet cupcake to each customer from 6-11 PM, Morton's The Steakhouse serving filet mignon sandwiches at Street of Georgetown and free scotch samples if you show your FNO receipts and many more.  Visit FNOGeorgetownDC.com for a complete list of participating stores and restaurants.

Adams Morgan Day Festival is this Sunday, September 9th.  After a facelift, the neighborhood is boasting a streetscape perfect for hosting the District's best annual street fair.  18th Street will be blocked off for pedestrians only and cars will be replaced by tents where local artisans will set up shops for the day.  Enjoy live music, diverse food offerings, art, jewelery, clothing and gifts.   Don't miss our featured vendor Freddy van der Baugh and his uniquely DC take on holiday-wear and other DC-centric t-shirt and sweatshirt designs.  Sunday, September 9th, Noon to 7 p.m., 18th Street between Columbia Road and Florida Avenue NW.
Zaytinya Celebrates its Second Annual Grape Festival:  Through September 16th, taste the fruit’s endless variations with grape-inspired dishes and cocktails through exciting events and menu specials priced between $8.50 and $18.  

Vintage Crystal: A Taste of Wine and Jazz:  A convenient, metro-friendly addition to the Virginia wine festival scene, enjoy sips of wine provided by Jaleo and tempting tastes from local restaurants. Tater Tot Happy Hour at Food, Wine and Co.:  The Bethesda eatery is launching a new Happy Hour revolving around the popular bar bites where diners can snag a plate of the crispy, fried tots for only $1. Food, Wine & Co.'s new Tater Tot Happy Hour will be available Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m throughout the month of September.
