Slow Sippin': Tequila

When we arrived to Cabo, it was pouring.  Nothing that a little tequila couldn't fix.

We checked into a studio suite at the beautiful Grand Solmar resort and made our way downstairs to a private tequila tasting.
Master Tequila Sommelier, Juan Carlos Diaz, walked us through the proper way to sip tequila.
Yes, I said "sip."  With tequila this good, you don't need to shoot it.  Juan Carlos walked me through three different varieties of tequila:  Blanco, Reposado and Anejo.
1921 Tequila (Silver)
Clase Azul Tequila (Reposado)
Don Julio 1942 Extra Aged (Anejo)
My favorite was the 1921 Blanco tequila.  Classes are $40 per person and take place Thursday evenings beginning at 5 p.m.   So when you're planning your next vacation to Cabo, make sure you don't miss a tequila tasting.
