Eating Around Town: Matchbox, Tel'Veh and More!

This fall has treated my stomach well.  I've been eating all over town and loving every minute.  Where have you been eating and drinking this fall?

Tel'Veh:  The café and wine bar has tapped Dimosthenis “Dimo” Kolouas as the new executive chef and Alan Lamb as general manager/wine director.  I stopped in to try the new menu and wine pairings.  Don't miss the oysters, succulent octopus and Baked Camebert dessert.  The wine selections are outstanding.

Matchbox:  The new Matchbox is now open on 14th and it is my new favorite.  We stopped in for a preview and everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.  Don't leave without trying their new salmon dish!  Also, I'm always a fan of the mini burgers and any of their signature wood-fire oven pizzas.  I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.  I'll be a regular for sure.

Hanoi House:  Hanoi House took over the old Black Byrd space and I think it is so much better.  I'm thrilled to have a good Vietnamese place in the neighborhood.  I loved the Banh Mi and the combination fried rice.  The prices are totally affordable and the food is comforting and tasty.
