The Huxley's 1 Year Anniversary Soirée

The Huxley recently celebrated its one year anniversary in Washington. DC's elite, from the glitterati to the literati and everyone in between, showed up in fine fashion to help owners Ryan Seelbach and Eric Lund commemorate this milestone.

Slightly more than a year after its opening, The Huxley premier nightclub and lounge has redefined DC nightlife. It boasts 4,600 square feet of luxury and style, including two main venues, the Ballroom and the Library. In the Ballroom, lavish, gold-plated chandeliers sparkle sumptuously against the barrage of muted neon lights. The room is surrounded by thirteen banquet tables which are accompanied by plush red leather booths. In addition to late night dancing and celebrity DJ performances, the polished, hardwood floors often host musicians, dancers, and special guests.

By taking a few steps away from the Ballroom, patrons will find themselves in the more intimate Library, which, although smaller than the Ballroom, sacrifices none of the experience. In this room, books and bottles tastefully etch up the side of the bar, while tufted black leather booths cozy up to the other side of the room. Neon task-lighting gradually shifts colors like a Turrellian exercise in subtlety and shade, and twists and melds into the hypnotic tones emitted from the room's perfect sound system.

DC is happy to have you. Happy Anniversary, Huxley!
