I'm sure you've been wondering where you can find the Best French in DC. I asked the writers of Capital Cooking to chime in as well. If we missed your favorite, please comment below. Also, you can check out more of our "Best Of" Lists Here
Lauren's Pick: Bistrot du Coin- Always my go-to spot for solid bistro food.

I'm also a fan of Le Diplomat.
Lauren Rosalanko’s Pick: Cafe Bonaparte, a delicious tomato and basil soup and so many options for sweet and savory crepes!
Kathy's pick: Le Madeleine : best chocolate croissants!
Lauren R.’s Pick: L'Auberge Chez Francois (not technically in DC, but worth mentioning and my absolute fave)

Laurie and Amanda's pick: Marcel's- Impeccable service, incredible food.

Tom's pick: Bistro Billy for the food -- great French bistro food in a place where you don't have to shout to be heard. But for desserts, try Cafe Napoleon, get the classics like Ille Flotante all perfectly made.
