Yona Pop-Up Extended

Due to the popularity of the event, G by Mike Isabella is extending the Yona pop-up through May 2. That's an extra month to try Chef Jonah Kim's take-over preview of the noodle bar and Japanese small plates restaurant he is opening in Ballston with Mike Isabella early this summer.

Yona Pop-Up details:
The a la carte preview menu will be available at G Wednesday–Saturday nights through May 2. The sandwich shop and Sunday Gravy will continue to operate on their normal schedule.

Highlights include:

Miso Porky ramen (rich pork broth with miso tare, chashu, kikurage, kimchi, negi, corn, nori, soft egg, $14)

Tonkotsu-shoyu tare ramen (chashu, menma, benishoga, negi, sesame seeds, nori, soft egg, $14)

Veggie ramen (Soy milk-veggie broth, bean sprouts, pea sprouts, corn, snow peas, eringi mushroom, black garlic oil, $12)

Steamed buns (pork jowl, ssam jang, iceberg, $9)

Dry-fried wings (fresh chilies, maltose, aged rice vinegar, $9)

Smoked Hamachi (chojang, onion, perilla leaf, tobiko, $14)

Yook hwe (Korean beef tartare, traditional and non-traditional flavors, gem lettuce, $14)

A selection of Japanese beer, sake and Japanese whiskies as well as cocktails by Taha Ismail that feature fermented juice and other Asian-inspired ingredients.
