Opening: Bucketfeet Shoes in Shaw

Bucketfeet, where art and footwear combine.

Co-founders Raaja Nemani and Aaron Firestein met volunteering in Argentina.  Artiste Firestein sold a pair of sneakers featuring his original artwork to Nemani and the shoes sparked so much interest the pair decided to start up a business together back in the states.  The first stores opening in Chicago.  Now five years after the inception of Bucketfeet, their shoes have have been sold in more than 15 countries and feature designs from 40,000 artists around the globe.

The Shaw retail studio is a work of art itself featuring murals by local artist MazPaz.

Bucketfeet offers slip-ons and lace-ups for men, women and children.  Prices range from $62-$148 and each shoe has a story.
