Uncorked: Bonterra’s 2016 Rosé

Nestled in the Mendocino mountain range just north of Sonoma and Napa Valley, Bonterra Organic Vineyards will celebrate 30 years of organic this year. Founded by organic winemaking pioneer Bob Blue, who in 1987 recognized Mendocino County’s ideal conditions for farming organic grapes, Bonterra Organic Vineyards’ collection of wines stems from an approach to farming that creates grapes that are pure, vibrant, and intensely flavorful.

Bonterra’s 2016 Rosé (SRP $16), a Grenache-heavy blend, has notes of strawberry, key lime, rosewater and pineapple.  Yum!

With the aid of their farm partners, Bonterra Organic Vineyards is built on the belief that organic farming and biodiversity in the vineyards produce better grapes, which in turn produces better, more expressive wines.

I love a tasty rose.  Give this one a try for the summer!  Cheers!
