Thinking of Drinking: Classic Martini

Martini's come in a many different colors and flavors these days, but true cocktail connoisseurs go crazy for a well-made martini. At a recent Home Bartending class, Marshall Fawley from Scofflaw's Den taught us how to make a classic martini that you can try at home.

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Dry Vermouth
0.5 oz. Gin
2 drops of Orange or Angostura Bitters
Lemon peel

Directions:
Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes
Stir for 30 seconds
Strain into a martini glass
Add two drops of orange or Angostura bitters
Garnish with the lemon twist

The result should be a light, well-balanced martini with a fragrant lemon essence. Cheers!
