The Israeli street food-inspired eatery, Shouk, is now serving falafels! Shouk is the Hebrew word for market, referring to the open-air fresh markets common in Israel and the Middle East. The D.C. chain, which is located in Mt Vernon Triangle (655 K Street NW) and Union Market (395 Morse Street NE), is certified kosher and the menu is completely plant-based.
