It was a great night for lamb lovers at Eastern Market last night when the Annual Lamb Jam Tour made its way to D.C.
20 restaurants united in the name of Lamb to serve small portions of breast, leg, shank and should cooked to their specifications. My favorite offerings included the Smoke Lamb Breast Scrumpets from Chef Wes Morton of Art and Soul and Roasted Lamb and Clam Taco from Chef Victor Albisu of Del Campo. Guests could be seeing licking their chops and swaying to live music. Beer pairings from Mad Fox, Allagash and Port City Brewing Company of Alexandria kept the lamb loving party going.
I loved Chef Nick Stefanelli's Cacio Romano Ravioli with Lamb Ragu. Yum!
