Happy Anniversary to the Lincoln!

LINCOLN recently held their 6th Anniversary party.

The party invited a presidential impersonator of Abraham Lincoln, and held an American history trivia game (yes, I got a selfie, and no, I didn't even get close to winning trivia). A portion of the money spent at the event will be donated to Martha’s Table, a social services organization in the D.C. area dedicated to serving individuals in need.

LINCOLN provides a stylish dining experience, with pennies lining the floor and bar, a large white “Abraham Lincoln” chair, Mason jar lighting, inventive architecture, and original wall décor. This chic dining spot near K Street is great for "insta and snap-worthy" photos, with amazing lighting and multiple picturesque areas. I should know, the first time I went to LINCOLN was for my anniversary! LINCOLN is the perfect spot for date-night, history buffs, out-of-towners, or business outings.

LINCOLN has a seasonal small plate menu, which features American dishes from local farmers, fisherman, and ranchers. The Executive Chef Demetrio Zavala’s menu showcases market fresh American-fare such as corn flake fried chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, sweet potato soup, and braised lamb. After trying a few of the small plates they were serving, I was hooked.

LINCOLN also has an amazing bar program with top shelf spirits and specialty cocktails crafted by mixologist John Hogan. The Happy Hour menu features Abe Lincoln inspired drinks including: First Lady Lincoln, Honest Abe’s Moonshine, and Emancipation Punch. However, I needed a Moscow Mule to cool down and relax by the bar.

The Happy Hour menu also features American bites such as winter squash tator tots, traditional deviled eggs, bison corn dogs, chicken potpie nachos, and shrimp congee croquettes. Happy Hour is from 4PM-7PM Monday-Sunday and 10PM-12AM Monday-Saturday.
