The Taste of North Capitol is back! On thursday June 6, 2019 North Capitol Main Streets will host its 3rd annual Taste of the North Capitol at the awesome NPR Building in Northeast Washington D.C.
Hosted by the Bates, Bloomingdale, Eckington and Truxton neighborhoods, the event will celebrate the unique neighborhoods that make up North Capitol Main Street, as well as the one-of-a-kind businesses that make this dining destination like no other.
Guests will enjoy a concert featuring The Archives, a band that began when Thievery Corporation’s Eric Hilton began a quest to explore the roots of reggae music. The band is led by producer/ keyboard ace Darryl “D-Trane” Burke, and all members have recorded and toured internationally with acts like Eek-A-Mouse, Black Uhuru, Culture, Don Carlos and more. How awesome is that?!
Sip, taste, listen, dance, and enjoy this festive June event at the beautiful National Public Radio building at 1111 North Capitol St NE.
