Eat with Your Eyes: Black Truffle Cheese Fritters

Is your mouth watering?  It should be!   J and G's signature Black Truffle Cheese Fritters (bite-sized hot, cheesy, earthy and melty goodness) will make your night.  They are the perfect way to start out a meal at the restaurant.

We were delighted to taste the new menu items that were paired with Champagne, wine and Sake.
After the comforting Black Truffle Cheese Fritters, we dove into the seared tuna and fried calamari.  Both are excellent appetizer choices.

Don't leave with out trying their Butternut Squash Soup with Oyster Mushrooms (poured table side)!
Such a beautiful presentation and silky taste.

For the main courses, we tried some of their new items.
Don't miss the Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Vinegar and Pecans,
perfectly grilled Lamb Chops with Roasted Baby Vegetables and Black Olive Crumbs,
and Soy Glazed Beef Short Ribs with Apple-Jalapeno Puree with Rosemary Crumbs.

We also loved the halibut and sauteed mushrooms.
Everything we tasted was wonderful.
Amazing dessert wine.
We never leave a restaurant without indulging on a little dessert.
J and G's Tiramisu with Cocoa Ganite and Coffee Gelato,
Apple Tart Tatin with Rum Raisin Ice Cream,
the signature Salted Caramel Ice Cream Sundae with Peanuts Popcorn and Chocolate Sauce, and
J and G Cheesecake with Port Roasted Figs and Blueberry Sorbet, hit the spot!
After dinner, stop upstairs for a drink at POV.

J and G Steakhouse is also the perfect place to host holiday parties with multiple venues that suit each special occasion and is guaranteed to make it a delicious and memorable one.  Call (202) 661-2440 for more information.  Happy Holidays!
