Dining Out: Happy 1 Year Anniversary Wilson Hardware!

One year ago this month, the three-tiered contemporary American kitchen and bar honoring the 60s Virginia Hardware shop opened up in Clarendon. Although I knew this place was fun and delicious, I couldn’t believe how popular and trendy the spot had become in just one year! The restaurant was packed to celebrate one incredible year in the Arlington neighborhood.

Wilson Hardware still has the same great dining experience it started out having—with a relaxing lounge featuring live music, cozy dining spots for date night, and a modern bar for happy hour and watching football.

The bar also still features their classic slushy cocktails, hardware themed drinks like “Liquidated Damages” and “Permit Denied,” and their most sought after two-person drink, "Bright Idea." However, the kitchen has also cooked up some innovative creations, including a delicious new bottomless brunch menu and revived happy hour and dinner selections. The new brunch menu features a collection of small plates to share – including deviled eggs and sour cream biscuits, spinach and leek omelettes, short rib hash, and the classic chicken and waffles.

Wilson Hardware is located at 2915 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, VA 22201, right off of the Clarendon metro stop. Head into Wilson Hardware to check out their new brunch menu this weekend or order a “Screw Him” Cocktail after work while the game is on. For more information, go to: Wilson Hardware
