Thinking of Drinking: 4Bitten Sangria

To celebrate the launch of our new company, I created a 4Bitten Sangria to sip on with the ladies of Girl Meets Food, Johnna Knows Good Food and Dining in DC.

1 bottle white wine (Pinot Grigio)
1 cup ginger simple syrup (recipe below)
2/3 cup Spirit of Hudson Vodka
1/3 cup Apple Diep 9
2/3 cup Ventura Limoncello
10 grapes, halved
1 apple, diced

Mix all ingredients in a pitcher or punch bowl and serve over ice.

Ginger Simple Syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons grated ginger

Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.  Stir until sugar dissolves and then remove from heat.  Add ginger and cool.  Store in a clear glass bottle or jar with a tight fitting lid in the refrigerator.  Stir and strain before serving.
