Book Review: Gourmet Getaways

Happy March!
Are you tired of taking a typical vacation? Wouldn't it be fun to learn some cooking skills while relaxing? Gourmet Getaways
will help you plan that perfect culinary vacation by providing you with information about the top 50 culinary vacations in America. The book gives the inside scoop on all of the getaways and provides you with some sample recipes of what you will find during your recreational cooking program. This book left me longing to go on a culinary trip. Even if you're not planning a cooking getaway, you can use this book for a resource in the future and enjoy the recipes provided.

I came across this book during the Old Town food and Wine Show where I met Joe David. Joe David is the author of numerous articles on American and international cuisine for such publications as the Christian Science Monitor, with recent pieces including an interview with celebrated chef Jacques Pépin and an article on the Ritz Escoffier Cooking School in Paris.

If you are interested in reading the book, you can purchase it here.
