Event: The Rammy Awards Gala is this Weekend!

The DC food event of the year is this Sunday at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. This is my absolute favorite day of the year – celebrating the best restaurants in the District with the biggest foodies in town. So many hard working individuals and organizations are up for awards this year in over twenty different categories.

The delicious Brazilian Steakhouse is now open in the Pike & Rose retail center! The new restaurant is their third location in the Metro DC area, and features a more contemporary dining space.

Gloria! Gloria!

Epic evening last night at the Vampire Weekend concert in St. Louis.  The crowd erupted when the Blues won the championship and took home the Stanley Cup.  Let's Go Blues!!  Vampire Weekend came out to sing Gloria for the encore.

Recipe: Squash Salad with Feta and Fresh Mint

It is that time of year.  I love this dish and I made it last night for my mom.  Summer squash is delicious raw when it's shaved and marinated with a bit of salt. Add salty prosciutto and you have the perfect side dish.
