Dinner at Assaggi

Recently, I went to Assaggi Mozzarella Bar to meet with Chef Domenico Cornacchia about filming an upcoming show. After we finished our planning meeting we enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner including:

Burrata with green tomatoes marmalade (**My favorite. The burrata was so creamy and the sweet marmalade paired perfectly.)
Spinach Lasagnetta with wild boar ragu
Monk fish fillet with stewed Monk Fish Tripe
Persimmon “panna cotta”
Amedei chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream

This was my first time dining in Bethesda and Assaggi was a great choice. The atmosphere is welcoming and guests can watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen. If you're in Bethesda, stop into Assaggi for some mozzarella.

I did not know what to think of this when I first saw the picture, but I am willing to try anything. Even the burrata which looks a bit ominous.
