Food News Friday

NBC Washington announced the arrival of Pinkberry in the DC area. Although the location is unknown, it can be guaranteed the DC transplant population will rejoice. Just what DC needs, another chain. I'll direct you to Tim Carman's thoughts on Pinkberry over at Young & Hungry. Enjoy!

Y&H announced Snap, a creperie, opened a second location in Adams Morgan on 18th St. in the former CD/Game Exchange. You can also find Snap in Georgetown.

Prince of Petworth reports Old Mario's Pizza on Georgia Ave. NW (3519 Georgia Ave. NW) is becoming a West Indian take out place known as The Lion's Den. Look for an opening next week.

PoP also reported a new French restaurant is coming to Connecticut Ave. NW. Terasol is located across the street from Politics and Prose in the former Dahn Yoga space (5010 Connecticut Ave. NW).

Georgetown is celebrating Fashion Night Out tonight from 6-11 PM. Click here to see dining specials from Georgetown restaurants.

In Top Chef DC news, Kelly was told to pack her knives and go. Meh. I'm still upset about Tiffany.
