El Centro Gets New Menu Items

El Centro is a great neighborhood hot spot and I enjoyed dining there for my third time last week.  It is a fun place to enjoy drinks on the roof in the summer, but you can try it this winter as well because they've enclosed the rooftop.

If you haven't done so already, you must explore the tequila in the underground Tequileria with over 200 tequilas and mezcals.
Red and Smoky
The collection was curated by Danielle Griffin, Chef Sandoval’s accredited Tequila Sommelier, and Courtenay Greenleaf, who manages North America’s largest list of Tequilas at Chef Sandoval’s Biblioteca de Tequila in New York City.
Escabeche Tostada
They've also began a “meet the maker” series, where every Monday night Tequila Ambassadors come to the Tequileria and host tastings from 6-7 PM where guests enjoy flights, bites and Tequila insights.
Mushroom Huraches
This an awesome spot to go with a group for drinks and refined Mexican dishes. I also love to order late night quesadillas.  El Centro has recently launched some delicious new menu items.
Duck Sopas
We loved the Duck Sopes, Mushroom Huraches, Escabeche Tostada (with cactus) and the Angus Filet Tacos.  The Red and Smoky is a fantastic cocktail with sweet and smoky flavors from the Mezcal and hibiscus.  The service was wonderful.  The bar staff is extremely knowledgeable.

Filet Mignon tacos.  Yum!
