is offering mystery gift cards for their Holiday Gift Giveaway. One
card per dining room guest will be given out during brunch and dinner
service and are redeemable from January 1-31, 2013. The 'mystery' cards
must remain sealed until the server opens it and presents the guest
with their gift upon their return visit in January 2013. Mystery cards
may reveal goodies such as gift certificates from $5 to $100, all-night
happy hours for four, bottles of wine and even seats to Vinoteca's
always-sold-out wine classes! Pre-opened or unsealed envelopes will be

has been engaged to perform on Friday, December 7th at 7:00 PM and 9:00
PM. As an antidote for your wintertime blues, Prelude will perform a

Gingerbread Houses for a Good Cause: RIS is hosting a gingerbread house workshop to benefit DC Central Kitchen on Saturday, December 15 at 12 noon. Guests will have the chance to build their own gingerbread house, learn the tricks from the masters and enjoy holiday treats. RIS will provide all the gingerbread house equipment while the pastry team will be serving seasonal ice creams, chocolate macaroons, gingerbread cake, and RIS’ house cocoa made with mint marshmallows. Participation is guaranteed through a $20 per person donation. All proceeds will benefit DC Central Kitchen. Space for this special event is extremely limited. Mad Fox Brewing Company New Year’s Eve Celebration: The award-winning Mad Fox Brewing Company, Northern Virginia’s upscale brewpub, plans to ring in the New Year with international recording artist – and legendary Washington area blues singer/guitarist - Tom Principato. Tickets are $60 per person and include the live performance by Principato, a chef-inspired menu featuring passed appetizers, dinner and dessert buffets, party favors and a midnight celebratory toast. Price does not include additional beverages. Dinner will be served from 9 pm until 11 pm, when it will be replaced by the dessert buffet, until 12:30 am.
