Thinking of Drinking: Santa's Helper

There's no way to prove it, but, I imagine Santa to be a whiskey drinker.  How else would he be able to reach all of those homes in the freezing cold without some whiskey to warm him up along the way?  

2 oz Hudson Manhattan rye whiskey
.25 oz Fernet-Branca
.25 oz maple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Stir with ice and strain into a chilled glass with ice. Garnish with an orange peel.
