Big Buns is teaming up with three craft breweries - Flying Dog, Hardywood and DC Brau - for a series of beer dinners this summer. For each dinner, Best Buns is pairing craft brews with specialty sliders, all-you-can -fries, and tasty desserts. Here's the line up:
Thursday, June 5: Junetoberfest featuring Flying Dog craft brews
- Start...Blood Orange Ale paired with beer battered onion rings (Sriracha mayo)
- One...Snake Dog IPA paired with a beer marinated brat (sauerkraut, spicy mustard, pretzel bun)
- Two...Dead Rise Old Bay Summer Ale paired with a jumbo lump crabcake slider (lettuce, pickled green tomato, Old Bay spiced aioli)
- Three...Easy IPA paired with a bison burger slider (apple smoked bacon, chipotle pesto aioli, Havarti cheese)
- Dessert...Brewhouse Rarity Ginger Beer paired with a hand spun graham cracker shake
Thursday, July 3: Bunsdependence Day featuring Hardywood beers
- Start...All you can eat fries and sweet potato fries
- One...Lamb Burger, pickle, Sriracha mayo, smoked Gouda
- Two...Maine lobster roll, shredded lettuce, house dressing
- Three...80/20 Black Angus blend, Pico de Gallo, avocado cream aioli
- Dessert...Hardywood stout, gluten free chocolate chip cookie, vanilla ice cream
Thursday, August 7: Brau, Bacon + Sausage II featuring DC Brau pairings
- Start...Big Buns Tots, Sriracha mayo
- One...80/20 Black Angus blend, breakfast bacon, blue cheese sauce
- Two...Ribeye bison blend, cherrywood bacon, sauteed mushrooms, Swiss cheese
- Three...Lamb burger, Cajun Andouille, pickle, curry in a hurry sauce
- Dessert...Penn Quarter Porter, fried Snickers bar, vanilla ice cream
