Menu ReVamp: Rialto

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in DC, Rialto, has a new menu that is more delicious than ever!
Get cozy near the fireplace and treat your belly to some tasty delights.   All of the dishes were cooked to perfection and left me wanting seconds.
Begin with the Soft yellow corn polenta with truffled forest mushrooms, and the
Baked smoked mozzarella wrapped with smoked Italian pancetta.
Dive into the Tortelli pasta filled with pumpkin in a brown butter and sage sauce topped with almonds.  I loved the addition of the crunchy nuts.
Try the grilled Branzino over sauteed Brussels sprouts and roasted pumpkin puree.
Save room for dessert and taste the carrot almond cake with French vanilla gelato.
The best was the panna cotta al cappuccino con salsa al caramello e Granella di nocciole.  So creamy.

All in all, every dish was amazing.  Stop in soon to enjoy!

With over 15 years of experience, Lisi has brought Rialto an authentic flair for Italian culture and cuisine. Lisi is originally from Locorotando Italy, but ventured to Castellana Grotte, Italy where he spent five years in Culinary school and thereafter went on to some of the cities most notable restaurants. A native of Southern Italy, Lisi was brought up using Extra Virgin Olive Oil on all his dishes versus heavy creams and butter—a trend he will continue this fall and winter.
