Peapod, America’s leading online grocer, has partnered with the classic steakhouse Wildfire, creating new chef-inspired meal kits that can be delivered right to your door.
Wildfire Meal Kits can now be ordered through Peapod in select cities, creating the perfect solution for foodies who don’t have the time to go out to dinner, go shopping at the grocery store, or spend time preparing each step of the cooking process. Wildfire is offering two Meal Kit options on Peapod: The Wildfire Beef Tenderloin with Couscous and the Wildfire BBQ Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and caramelized carrots.
Each meal kit comes with pre-measured, pre-washed and pre-chopped fresh ingredients, which can be quickly assembled and cooked. After getting home from work, it was nice to enjoy a fresh, healthy, homemade meal that didn’t take hours to shop, prep, and cook for. Prepared by Wildfire chefs, the kits are color-coded and available in two and four serving sizes for home delivery in Chicago, New York and Washington, DC markets.
The Wildfire Beef Tenderloin with Couscous meal kit is $9.48 per serving and the Wildfire BBQ Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and caramelized carrots is $8.00 per serving. The online grocery store has been offering a variety of meal kits since 2014, but has never collaborated with a restaurant before now. Other meal kits range in price portions, including the popular meal kit companies Plated (about $11.95 per person), HelloFresh (about $9.99 per person) and Blue Apron (about $9 per person).
I have done meal kits before, so I thought I knew what I was getting into. Both of the meal kits that Wildfire offers comes with an extremely readable recipe card and individually organized, ready-to-cook ingredients in well-packaged containers. I absolutely loved these chef-inspired recipes and the simplicity of reading the recipe and effortlessly creating an entire meal after a full day of work. I highly recommend adding these meal kits to your next peapod order! For more information, go to: Peapod.
