Events: The Winners of the 11th Annual Embassy Chef Challenge Are....

So many incredible Embassy Chefs gathered together in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center this week to compete in the 11th Annual Events DC Embassy Chef Challenge presented by TCMA! Foodies from around the District got to sip and savor dishes from around the world! It was an incredible night filled with live music, delicious liquor, and unique spices!

Chef Javon Cummings representing Barbados won the coveted first place “Golden Pineapple” in the Judges’ Choice category for his Guava Brûlée Pork Belly while Chef Dimitri Lilavois representing Haiti took home first place in the People’s Choice Award with his Surf and Turf Pumpkin Soup. YUM!!

This is one of our favorite events in the District. We love having chefs from different nations come together to showcase all of their exceptional dishes from around the globe. My favorite dish was the incredible soup-like dessert made by the Sri Lanka Embassy Chefs and my favorite drink of the night was a spicy cucumber cocktail by the El Salvador Embassy Mixologists! What a great night. #ECC2019
