After the bubbly, I like to start with a perfect signature cocktail. I like to have one drink that is a little more special when the guests walk through the door. Something with a cute garnish.
Gingerbread Man -tini
1 shot Knob Creek Whiskey
½ shot Pisa Liqueur
½ shot of 79 Gold Caramel Liqueur
1 shot cream
1 shot gingerbread simple syrup
Garnish: Gingerbread Man (recipe below)
Shake over ice and serve.
Gingerbread Simple Syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon clove
Combine sugar and water in pot. Cook over medium-high heat until sugar dissolves.
Reduce heat to medium-low and add ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Transfer to a bowl and cool to room temperature (about two hours).
Pour into a bottle, and refrigerate.
