Thinking of Drinking: Poinsettia Cocktail

Inspired by the famed flower of Christmas, the Poinsettia Cocktail is made with calvados brandy, apple and cranberry puree, lemon juice, spiced simple syrup and prosecco, and is garnished with a scarlet blossom.  Make this at the next holiday party.

Poinsettia Cocktail
From Jardenea Restaurant at Melrose Georgetown Hotel in Washington, D.C. 

1 1/2 ounce of of Calvados brandy
2 bar spoons of cranberry and apple puree
2 bar spoons of spiced simple syrup
Dash of lemon juice
1/2 ounce of cranberry juice 
Garnished with 3 frozen cranberries and rosemary sprigs

Mix all of the ingredients into a Champagne flute and top with prosecco.
