Overview: Railstop Gastro Pub

Recently, I attended the opening of Railstop Gastropub. Located within the Crown Plaza Old Town, this pub brings a new twist to traditional bar food in a comfortable setting.

The eclectic menu was designed by a Jamaican chef who inserts his roots within each dish. One of the main highlights is the house made sausages of pork or seafood. Bar snacks include Tots and Fried Pickles and main dishes range form Steak Frites to Vegetarian Strudel. There is also a Railstop Burger with a touch of Old Dominion Lager Battered Fish and Chips.

Railstop also has a great beer selection to pair with its food.
I was able to try beer from the Virginia area - making it extra fun as I got a taste of my own area!

Railstop Gastropub is open 7 days a week 11:30am-11:30pm; and offers a daily happy hour from 5-7pm. Check out the new pub in town and enjoy the Jamaican twist to your favorite bar foods.
