Fondue for Two

Park Hyatt Washington and Blue Duck Tavern’s Lounge recently launched "Fondue for Two”, a nightly special available throughout the winter season from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm.  You won't find this on the menus, but they'll bring it out to you upon request.

This off-the-menu addition offers couples the choice of two artisanal cheeses, including: Truffle Tremor or Midnight Moon, both goat milk cheeses, which can be added to a base of aged cheddar, such as the award-winning Bandaged Wrap Cheddar from Fiscalini. Priced at $15, the warm fondue is presented in a black, cast-iron pot, which sits atop a wooden board, accompanied by a selection of breads for dipping, along with apples, pears, pickles, dried fruits and raisins.  Super cute and tasty.  They can also do wine pairings for you as well to go with the fondue.  Bon Apetit!
